All We Had

THE BRIEF

"All We Had - An American Tragedy" is an intensely personal look at an American family that followed a generation of crime, corruption, and the impact it had 30 years later. It also just so happens to be my family.

MY FOCUS

I wanted to capture some of the stories from my grandmother and my mom because growing up I had so many questions. It quickly turned into a feature documentray and a years-long project, covering how decisions made by my family had rippling-effects decades later.

The documentary was accepted at Marbella Film Festival and Cannes Short Film Corner the same year. Film critic Richard Roeper called the documentary, “VERY POWERFUL, HONEST, INSIGHTFUL AND WELL-MADE. A COUPLE OF TIMES I GOT THE CHILLS."
