exec is a rideshare advertising platform allowing anyone to promote anything for $0.10 per play.

MY FOCUS

While working at LegalRideshare, our law firm had helped lift the advertising ban on rideshare cars. I jumped at the opportunity to build a device & platform that would benefit advertisers, riders and drivers.

In under 6 months, using raspberry Pi's and inexpensive screens, I built exec. exec was the first-ever rideshare advertising platform created in Chicago. It allowed anyone to upload photos & videos and promote anything they wanted for $0.10 per play. Over a dozen drivers around Chicago had an exec device in their car.

In order to run as efficiently as possible, exec devices did not have dedicated cellular service. Instead, they would update content via wifi when the driver was close to home. It allowed us to deploy dozens of these devices much more efficiently than our competitors could.

Within the first 30 days, we were generating revenue and even drew the attention of Business First TV.
