THE BRIEF

"Her name is Iceland" tells my story as I traveled 1000+ miles around Iceland and the people, places, and emotions I experienced.

MY FOCUS

When I went to Iceland I had no intention of making a documentary. In fact, I wasn't even planning to bring a camera! I think that's the beauty of filmmaking. To be so inspired that you try to gather up those emotions, feelings, experiences to share with the world so that their heart may race with joy and excitement just as yours did.

I wrote the narration just once. At 3am in my Airbnb in Reyk. I remember sitting there wondering how I was going to put all this footage together. Realizing my love for Iceland was like falling in love for the first time, the words came effortlessly as I let my heart lead and my fingers follow.
